Be prepared to get dirty and have fun - while staying safe!
Before September 30 make sure that you have filled out the Screening Survey. This is a requirement of all participants. In order to join us for the Earth Day Cleanup, volunteers must be able to meet the following safety requirements:
On September 26, one week before the event, volunteers will have the opportunity to certify that all of the above statements are true in order to volunteer. Please make sure you follow these guidelines if you want to participate in this year's cleanup. We also ask that all registrants do not unsubscribe from our email list so we can better communicate with you about Earth Day.
Before you arrive read the section below on "What to Bring."

When you arrive look for signs to check in, and follow six-foot physical-distancing rules as you wait to receive your shirt and supplies.
Site leaders will brief you on basic safety measures to ensure that everyone has a safe, fun time. All tools and supplies needed will be provided - no need to bring your own gloves unless you have a favorite pair.
This is a family friendly event and kids are welcome! However, all participants under 18 must also have completed registration online.
Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather (rain or shine!) and wear clothes you won't mind getting dirty.
Our friends at the Alice Ferguson Foundation have an instructive video with safety tips. For more information, click here to read more on Alice Ferguson's website then click on the tab for training.
Once you have registered, please only contact your site leader with site specific questions or concerns about location and directions. You can find your site leader contact information in the confirmation email you receive upon registering. We encourage you to have your site leader's phone number handy on the day of the event in case you need assistance finding your site that morning.
